food for holiday food baskets that were delivered to nearly 200 needy families and donated a total of 25 baskets of food to the DeSoto Food Pantry and a local church’s food drive. In other news, the lodge held a Trivia Night fund-raiser and raised $680 for the state major project, which provides mobile dental care clinics that offer free care to needy people and people with disabilities.


Lake Taneycomo, MO, Lodge donated 150 pounds of goods and $200 in cash to the Tyler Project, a project headed by a local high school student that ships care packages to US troops stationed overseas.


In other news, lodge members delivered Christmas food baskets to ten needy families and donated presents for 30 children to Burrell Behavioral Health.


In more news, lodge members treated about 45 children from the community to breakfast at the lodge and a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, who gave each child a gift.

Patchogue, NY, Lodge members attended a Court of Honor Ceremony for new Eagle Scout Scott Davidson, of Boy Scout Troop No. 184, and gave him a US flag and a certificate. For his Eagle Scout Project, Davidson led a project team that built a meditation garden, including benches, flowers, a fountain, and several bushes, on the grounds of St. Lawrence Church in Sayville.
