Thousand Oaks, CA, Lodge held a Christmas Tree Sale fund-raiser, sold more than 500 trees, and raised more than $35,000 for lodge charities.
Walnut Creek, CA, Lodge members honored the winners of their Ameri- canism Essay Contest and gave each of them a cash prize and a certificate. Winners included Connor Lencioni, Carmen Marcon, Erin Regan, and Matteo Renner, of St. Mary’s School; Eric Ota, of Fame Charter School; and Amy Lin, Priyanka Jahar, and Kismat Dhaliwal, of Dorris-Eaton School.
Yreka, CA, Lodge donated two boxes of toys to the US Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program.

Santa Maria, CA, Lodge donated $100 to the Righetti High School choir in

Temecula Valley, CA, Lodge mem- bers distributed dictionaries to 780 third-grade students at five area elementary schools.
In other news, the lodge sponsored 17 families through Northern Valley Catholic Social Service, which used the lodge’s donation to provide the families with full Christmas dinners. Lodge members also gave presents to the children of the families.
Durango, CO, Lodge donated $1,000 to the La Plata County Sheriff’s Office to allow five needy children to shop with
