MINI-GAME compilations are the epitome of casual gaming so it was inevitable that Microsoft’s Kinect would soon be home to various endearing and addictive collections. It bodes well for the motion controller that its first true entry into this genre is Warner Bros’ Game Party, a series that made its name with strong sales on Wii. Players have to literally throw themselves into the action if they want to triumph in and master all of


the 16 mini-games available. These include, basketball, pool, darts, bowling, root beer tapper, table hockey and more. Every game can be enjoyed with multiple users – up to 16 in tournament mode. They can even play online across Xbox Live in matches of two to four players. Gamers can use their Avatars as their in-game character, and any accomplishments will be stored within that Avatar’s associated

BARTENDING In Root Beer Tapper, gamers must slide glasses filled with various beverages along a highly polished bar. A steady shoving motion is needed to send each glass along without them toppling over – just like the Old West.
