Rising Star teams up with cult developer Cave
Expanded version of Deathsmiles to be released on Xbox 360 across Europe early next year by Christopher Dring
SPECIALIST PUBLISHER Rising Star Games will release Deathsmilesacross Europe early next year. The Xbox 360 side- scrolling shooter is by Japanese developer Cave, which has a cult following across the world and is highly regarded by its peers. The company rarely releases titles outside of Japan, but the firm’s reputation has risen in the West after launching a handful of acclaimed games on iPhone. Rising Star MD Martin Defries says: “We are ecstatic to be able to team up with Cave.
“It is an honour to work with a developer of such renown and we are very excited that European gamers get a chance to experience their unique form of arcade action.”
