For more than 10 years, Clostermann Design has been developing and fabricating premium quality, custom, themed attractions for theme parks, museums and themed FECs all over the world.
From initial concept and design to the turnkey manufacturing of complete attractions and all themed elements including animatronics, interactive exhibits, scenic work and murals, the independent German group endeavours with every project to create unique, subtle illusions and enthralling experiences for park visitors.
Earlier this year, company CEO Matthias Clostermann noted that many sectors of the world theme park industry began to ebb in 2009, as customers postponed their purchasing decisions due to the economic downturn.
Now, as global markets begin to recuperate, Clostermann says: “They seem to want to make up for this delay now all the more and we are glad that our entertainment concepts have convinced our clients even over these long decision making phases.
“This year started out at high speed for us. So far, we have worked on three major projects: the Eisberg Antarctica-themed dark ride at the Vienna Prater, Austria; the walkthrough family attraction Raeven Hule for Fårup Sommerland, Denmark; and the complete surreal design and theming of the German midway attraction The Tower Event Centre.”
