Automatic Toys Modena
Well-known for its range of kiddie rides, Automatic Toys Modena (ATM) was founded in 1970 by Mario Fornaciari and the first ride to be produced was a simple swinging ride. Today, the company’s extensive range features the most up-to-date technology available, allowing more variety and features, including various interactive elements and other options.
As well as the vast array of kiddie rides on offer, other attractions are also supplied by ATM, including mechanical games, ball machines, trains, trampolines and more, while a relatively new addition to the catalogue is a range of furnishings. Having had numerous requests for such items, the company has created its Woody product range of tables, chairs, benches and wastepaper bins with bold colours and special details which are aimed at venues such as children’s play areas, birthday party rooms, parks, shopping centres and public and private gardens.
NewProducts ATM introduces new products to its range on a regular basis and among the most recent additions is the Transformer, a new hydraulic machine. All ATM
hydraulic kiddie rides are interchangeable (i.e. the base of the rides is the same and customers can change the top section to provide a new kiddie ride for a reduced
cost) and all feature plenty of lights (LED) and sound. And this new ride, as with all the hydraulic based rides, is interactive so the child can make it go up and down.
The Challenger is another new addition to the range, this being a big, interactive aeroplane with two seats. Riders can watch a video inside the aeroplane and move the machine right/left and make it jump up. Also new is the Parrot’s Raft, an interactive raft with a speaking parrot, on which riders can enjoy the trip on the raft while changing speed and sound. They can also make the parrot talk.
Also recently added to the range is the Blue Arrows, an aeroplane ride incorporating a video. The child can make the plane jump up and go left/right, while it also features new sounds and lights.
The newest addition is the Baby Express, a small train with a circular movement and featuring a special safety bar (on the front side of the train) which, if touched, stops the ride.
ATM works in numerous countries around the world, recent projects including the sale of various rides to Libya and Iran, while the company has also completed a parks area in Naples. Other projects currently underway include those for customers in Albania, Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
