Vekoma also offers a wide range of coaster train systems, including those providing a sitting position and a prone, flying position, with a host of different solutions for different requirements in between in various configurations and sizes.
As well as its wide range of custom designed and standard coasters, Vekoma has also developed and built many different types of ride including Giant Wheels, Waikiki Waves, tower rides and different indoor dark rides, including a rotating house style ride.

Vekoma Rides Manufacturing is based in The Netherlands and is one of the largest roller coaster manufacturers in the world. With production facilities at its headquarters premises as well as in the Czech Republic, Poland and China, the company is well positioned to supply rides from locations that best fit the clients’ destination.
All aspects relating to the creation of a ride are carried out in-house, from concept design to engineering and manufacturing, and for all types of coaster, including family, thrill and mega coasters, as well as a range of family attractions. For many years, Vekoma has worked in close co-operation with parks and project developers to design numerous indoor and outdoor coasters and attractions to meet the often very stringent requirements of individual projects. From small indoor shopping mall coasters to full size, high capacity, multi-inversion indoor launch coasters, the company has the skills and capacity to complete the most complex of projects.
The latest designs from Vekoma are characterised by innovation, high quality and durability and the company’s extensive product range includes favourites such as the Junior Coaster, the Suspended Family Coaster, Boomerang, Invertigo, Suspended Looping Coaster, Flying Dutchman and many more. And its latest designs and developments, such as the Motobike Launch coaster, LSM and Hydraulic launch coasters, Flying coasters and mega coasters are “driving the coaster industry of the future by setting new standards for quality and innovation with a philosophy of making its rides appealing and accessible to the entire family, from children to their parents and grandparents.”

Projects
Of course Vekoma has completed numerous installations throughout the world over the years, its roller coasters and other amusement rides gracing many types of entertainment venue. Among some of the company’s more recently completed installations are a Junior Coaster 335m to Kolmården (Sweden) and Innovative Film Studios (India) in 2009 and to Valmontone Themepark (Italy) and Luna Park (Israel) in 2010, and custom designed Junior Coasters to Powerlong (indoor, China) in 2009 and to Filion Mall (indoor, Russia), Galerias Prima (indoor, Guatemala) and Taiwan (indoor) in 2010.
Among the company’s customers over the years have been some well-known names within the theme/amusement park industry, including Mirabilandia, Italy; Ponypark Slagharen, The Netherlands; Cypress Gardens and Freestyle Music Park, US; Toverland and Bobbejaanland, Belgium; and Everland, Korea, to name but a few.
