The East County Family Y offers a variety of Adult Sport Leagues. The recreational leagues are open to players and teams of all skill
levels.Adult sports are formatted in either 5-week mini-seasons or 10-week seasons. All seasons include playoffs and all teams make the playoffs.
NOTE: To get the member rate, a minimum of four Y members must be on the roster.
SENIOR BASKETBALL (ages 50+) CODE: 33AS BBC50
This sport is for older adults who are interested in semi- competitive exercise. The league will be played 3 vs. 3 or 5 vs. 5 depending on interest. SEASON DATES March 7-April 18, 2011

VOLUNTEER COACHES The youth in our community need strong role models and leaders to help teach them the fundamentals of sports while incorporating the four core values of the YMCA (Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility). Make a difference in a child’s life and teach them team- work in a fun, noncompetitive environment. Volunteers are required to fulfi ll the YMCA’s background and application process prior to coaching.
