A traditional day camp with outdoor fun and quality supervision. The focus of this camp will be on developing social skills, teamwork, self- esteem and an appreciation for the environment. Activities include a weekly field trip, recreational swim, indoor and outdoor games, nature activities, arts & crafts, special events on Friday and so much more! Campers will learn about the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. If your child loves to explore San Diego and go somewhere different and exciting each week, this is the perfect camp for them.

AMAZING RACE CAMP
Does your camper have what it takes to make it to the finish line? Campers will compete in both physical and mental challenges that take them on an amazing journey to different destinations each day. Campers will participate in personal challenges, and work together to complete partner and team challenges. When campers successfully finish this race, an amazing reward awaits them! Don’t miss this challenge!

ARCHERY CAMP
Ready, Aim, Fire! Campers will learn the basic skills of Olympic Archery, learning how to shoot a bow and arrow from National and World Champions! The week will include shooting balloons, playing archery games, and learning different styles of shooting, concluding in a YMCA Archery Camp Tournament! Campers will also get one recreational swim session at one of our pools.

BASKETBALL CAMP
Basketball Camp will take place in our McGrath Family YMCA gymnasium. With three hours daily instruction by a YMCA Certified Sports Instructor, this camp will fit the bill for basketball enthusiasts. Campers will participate in team building activities, games, and basketball themed activities. Campers will also get one recreational swim session at on e of our pools.
