JOHN A. DAVIS FAMILY YMCA (LA MESA) L.I.T.- LEADERSHIP IN TRAINING

Is your child a natural born leader? Perhaps they want to improve their leadership skills? This summer program is both fun and challenging, plus you will gain leadership skills while working with children. This two part program sends your child through a week of training, where they will learn skills like how to teach games, sing camp songs, how to work with children, First Aid and CPR. After successfully completing their training and become an L.I.T. they will be placed in camps for the remainder of the summer to assist our professional day camp staff team. This is an excellent way to gain job experience in a fun, supervised, and safe environment. L.I.T. placements will be made on Fridays for the following week.
