ANNUAL GIVING PROGRAM

Each day families in our community are threatened by drugs, gangs, and obesity. Your Y is here to help and strengthening our community is our cause. Our volunteers and staff understand the importance of providing a positive and safe environment for kids and families to learn, grow and thrive no matter what their background. The East County Family YMCA’s Annual Giving Program is a wonderful time to share the Y story, connect with other members and assist the Y in meeting it’s cause- driven mission. We count on the generosity of others and know that change can only come about when we all work together.

Our campaign will kick off each year in February with a goal on average of $350,000. Between January and March, volunteer campaigners may ask you to “Be a Link in the Chain of Human Kindness,” by pledging to make a gift to the campaign. Volunteer campaigners are members who are passionate about the Y. They are recruited to help lead the way in sharing the Y story and inspire others to connect to the YMCA. It is our hope that our members feel the impact of the Y in their own lives and wish to pay it forward. In 2010, this campaign allowed the Y to provide financial assistance to over 2,500 of your neighbors. You can make a difference. Join us - we can use someone like you!
