BUSINESS FESTIVAL BACKED A
s one of the country’s leading research and technology centres, the MTC is the perfect fit to drive home the region as the Knowledge Capital of the UK. Based at Ansty Park, Coventry, the MTC is one of seven High Value Manufacturing Catapult centres, and is home to some of the UK’s leading experts across a range of areas including digital manufacturing, 3D printing and robotics.
The Business Festival, developed by the
Coventry & Warwickshire Growth Hub and the Coventry & Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) will run for the first time from November 20th to December 1st.
Over the course of two weeks, businesses from across the region will have the opportunity to attend over 100 events staged by local organisations to encourage collaboration, networking, innovation, learning and sharing opportunities. Jonathan Browning, Chair of the
Coventry & Warwickshire LEP, said: “Throughout the Business Festival, we will be promoting the region as the ‘Knowledge Capital of the UK’ and the MTC has a big part to play in this.
“It is great news the MTC has become the Business Festival’s headline partner since it is an innovative, flourishing business
in this year’s inaugural Coventry and Warwickshire Business Festival, the MTC will play an integral role in the two-week long festival.
It will host the Coventry & Warwickshire Small Business Conference, organised by the FSB, and ‘Increase Manufacturing Productivity’ - an event for manufacturing SMEs. It will also stage the closing event of the festival.

There is a vast range of events on offer during the Business Festival. The majority of events in the Business Festival are completely free to attend.

ncentive QAS, the specialist cleaning arm of Incentive FM Group, has been awarded a three-year contract by CBRE to provide a range of dedicated cleaning services at The Cube in Birmingham. The new deal, which is worth approximately £400,000 across the duration of the contract, will further strengthen the existing relationship between the two companies. The iconic building is a mixed-use, 25-
storey development in the centre of the city. It contains 244 apartments, 111,500 square feet of office space, shops, a hotel, a restaurant on the 25th floor and a gym in the basement. Under the terms of the agreement, Incentive QAS will deliver a range of services including communal area cleaning, washroom services, consumable supply and pest control.
In order to maintain a high level of cleanliness, a dedicated site manager will lead a team of five full-time operatives, who have transferred via TUPE. Incentive QAS will ensure cleaning services are delivered throughout both the day and the evening, seven days a week. In addition, an operations manager will be provide weekly visits to guarantee the operation runs efficiently as possible.
