£100M CINDERFORD REGENERATION PROJECT UNDERWAY T


he Cinderford Northern Quarter project is well underway, with the first phase of the spine road now complete. Gloucestershire College have started their construction and are on track to open their doors to new students in September 2018.

The transformational £100m education led investment will also deliver 1,200 new jobs, a new hotel and more than 55,000sq.m of industrial or commercial floorspace in the heart of the Forest of Dean. Significant investment has already been committed to the project by various partners. Work to date has included the securing

The project, delivered by partners working on the Cinderford Regeneration Board, signals a step change in local economic activity by generating much needed new job, training opportunities and investment in the Forest. The Regeneration Board is the decision-making body empowered to provide a wider strategic direction on Cinderford regeneration matters.
