ICE 23 REVIEW

Continent 8 Technologies N

ick Nally, chief revenue offi cer, Continent 8 Technologies, said: “The industry was out in force at ICE London 2023, as was Continent 8. The 25-person team, with their ICE Daily in hand, were back in London and back to our regular Stand, N3-110, to showcase our world-leading global managed hosting, connectivity, cloud, and security services. Having not exhibited since 2020, before the COVID pandemic, we were eager to see how busy the exhibition would be. It didn’t disappoint, and the hall seemed busier than ever! The event was a great success, with plenty of meetings held with existing customers as well as prospective ones, with our popular coffee machine ensuring everyone was fuelled for the show.”

Nally added: “ICE London presented a perfect opportunity for us to begin our celebrations in our 25th anniversary year having been supporting customers’ operations and global growth since 1998 through cutting-edge technology. On the Tuesday of the show, we hosted celebratory drinks on the Stand, with customers, partners, and friends of ours; it was fantastic to see so many familiar faces. A huge thanks to everyone who attended; many of which have played a pivotal role in Continent 8’s growth over the past two and a half decades.”

He concluded: “Looking ahead, 2023 is going to be a very busy year for Continent 8. We expect our private network to hit 100 connected locations in 2023, servicing newly

regulated markets and providing connectivity to customers in strategic locations to support their global growth plans. This includes an aggressive fi rst-to-market strategy to enable customers to capitalise on the competitive regulated market. Our offering in LATAM continues to grow with our solutions currently live in Colombia, Peru and Puerto Rico, with launches in Argentina and Brazil to follow. Meanwhile in Asia, we will be bolstering our presence, which currently comprises sites in Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan, with a dedicated team on the ground to best serve the APAC region.”

You can catch the Continent 8 team at iGaming NEXT NYC, 7-9 March 2023.

Finnplay F

innplay managing director, Jaakko Soininen, said: “London staged another excellent ICE365 which we thoroughly

enjoyed and affi rmed that the industry is in fi ne health. Rumours about the event’s demise were premature as from our booth perspective it was incredibly busy and the offi cial delegate numbers now support this. Whether or not the show changes locations in the coming years, it is clear it still remains the premier industry event. “Innovation remains the driving force within the iGaming industry and AI was a common theme during many of our discussions. There’s been a lot of buzz about it, and we met a number of companies doing some very

interesting things with the technology. It’s not quite mainstream yet, and the tech is still being developed, but we defi nitely saw progress at ICE. There will be some very powerful new AI-driven tools to be incorporated in our platform in the near future.”

Soininen added: “Being in London over the week provided us the opportunity to talk face-to-face about our own business strategies

within regulated markets and have conversations with potential partners exploring launching new brands. Bringing our development team across enabled them to meet in person with long-term clients who ordinarily are on the other end of a screen. “From a commercial standpoint we initiated several new leads that we hope to move forward with over the next few months. We had plenty of insightful conversations with infl uential media publications where we revealed a little more about what’s in store for the business in 2023 - some of these discussions were on the record and some of them off. Watch this space as we’ll be able to announce more in the coming months.”

Nexiux Solutions R

ob Verdia, head of products at Nexiux Solutions, said: “Nexiux Solutions is pleased to report on the highly

successful outcome of its participation in ICE London. The company’s booth experienced a signifi cant infl ux of visitors on the fi rst day of the show, exceeding the total number of attendees we received during the entirety of G2E 2022. Delegates from various areas of the gaming industry, ranging from biometric security experts, payment providers, to game developers, showed interest in Nexiux’s Player and iGaming Platform. Our modular platform offers seamless integration of third-party solutions that can be quickly and easily

integrated into our system.

“Throughout the three-day event, we engaged with industry experts, operators, and individuals seeking to improve their online sportsbooks and casinos or looking to establish new brands and concepts. We were able to present our state-of-the-art platform and offer demonstrations to delegates in person, resulting in numerous qualifi ed leads to pursue. We take pride in our platform’s fl exibility, scalability, and superiority compared to other available options in the market.” He added: “ICE London is a unique industry event that brings together stakeholders from all corners of the gaming sector for three days

of education, showcasing, sharing, and networking. The quality of leads generated and knowledge gained during this event has reinforced our decision to consider exhibiting again next year, given the breakthrough year anticipated for Nexiux Solutions in 2023. We believe that ICE London has played a crucial role as a catalyst for our continued success, and we look forward to unlocking the power of our technology and suite of solutions with our partners over the coming months.”
