PEX was founded in 2003 in Austria and has grown since into a global provider of gaming equipment with a strong presence in Europe, Africa, and North & South Americas. Nowadays, the company has a manufacturing base in the
Czech Republic. After 20 years, APEX has become one of the industry leaders in production of gaming products and solutions.
Since the foundation of the company, Mr. Johannes
Weissengruber, the shareholder and Chairman, has always been very determined and resolute in how he wanted to develop and grow the company. Back in 2003, he chose the company name which refl ects this strategy. The Oxford English Dictionary defi nes the word ´apex´ as the top or highest part, therefore a pyramid was selected to become the APEX logo. The unchanging strategy of APEX is to offer the highest quality possible in every aspect, whilst offering industry innovations that create real player value and increase operators‘ revenues. The company logo underlines and portrays this strategy. APEX is represented in many countries around the world and additionally works together with local partners. The
