l Show de Londres - ICE 2023 – fue simplemente estupendo. Récord en expositores, récord visitantes, y sobre todo, récord negocios. Creo que casi todos salieron satisfechos con tan importante evento. Sin embargo, muchos comentaron acerca del comunicado


de Clarion Gaming, organizadores del evento, sobre la posible mudanza del show a partir del 2025, con las ciudades de Barcelona, Madrid o París, además de Londres, como posible sede de futuros ICE.


Y hablando de eventos, la organización mexicana, AIEJA, ha


anunciado la III Convención Internacional de Juego con Apuesta: para los días 22 y 23 de este mes, en el Hotel Hilton Santa Fe de la Ciudad de México, donde participarán la mayoría de permisionarios, operadores y proveedores de la industria en un espacio de análisis de la estructura y funcionamiento del mercado mexicano; así como, los retos del crecimiento y consolidación de la unidad y omnicanalidad en el país latinoamericano. Sin embargo, el tópico en boca de casi todos


fue la regulación de los juegos de azar en Brasil, que es algo que sigue tomando fuerza en el gran país latinoamericano considerado como la octava economía mundial, y contando ya con la aprobación del proyecto de ley PL442/91, aprobado por la Cámara de Diputados en febrero del año pasado ahora aumenta su relevancia en el Senado brasileño para que pueda ir al debate y a la votación en las próximas semanas. Como se puede leer líneas abajo, los astros parecen alinearse para el sector del juego en Brasil. Y así, como sigue, la GAT Expo Cartagena que se inicia el 27 de marzo con una actividad de networking, seguirá el 28 con la jornada académica inaugural de la feria en la mañana y la tarde con conferencias y paneles de primer nivel; y las puertas de la expo en el Salón La Santa María del Centro de Convenciones Cartagena Las Américas se abrirán al público visitante los días 29 y 30 de marzo. ¡Alla nos vemos!

he London Show – ICE 2023 – was just great. Record exhibitors, record visitors and, above all, record business. I think almost everyone left satisfied after such an important event. However, many commented on a statement from Clarion Gaming, organizers of


the event, about the possible move of the show from 2025 onwards, with the cities of Barcelona, Madrid, or Paris, in addition to London, as a possible venue for future ICE expos. And speaking of events, the Mexican organization, AIEJA, has announced the III International Gambling Convention, set for the 22-23 March, at the Hilton Santa Fe Hotel in Mexico City, where most licensees, operators and industry suppliers will participate in an event featuring analysis of the structure and functioning of the Mexican market; as well as the challenges of growth and consolidation of single and omnichannel ventures in the Latin American country. The topic on the lips of almost everyone during ICE 2023, however, was gambling regulation in Brazil, which is an issue that continues to gain strength in the great Latin American country, considered the eighth world economy. Legislators already have approved casino bill, PL442/91 in the House of Representatives in February of last year, and


this now increases its relevance in the Brazilian Senate so that it can be scheduled for debate and for a vote in the coming weeks. As you may read below, the stars seem to be aligning for the gaming sector in Brazil. And so, we come to GAT Expo Cartagena, in Colombia, which begins on March 27 with a networking activity programme followed on March 28 with the academic opening day of the event in the morning, plus high level conferences and debate panels in the afternoon. The doors of the expo at the La Santa María Hall of the Cartagena Las Americas Convention Center will open to the visiting public on March 29 and 30. See you all there!
