t came as no surprise to the Business Franchise team that the average Brit spends a year and a half simply thinking


about food over a lifetime. In fact, “is that all?” resounded through the offi ce when we stumbled across this information… we really are fond of our grub. If you like the idea of working with good food and an established brand name leaving customers happy and your bank balance healthy, then turn to the food and drink sector focus on p. 36 to read about those serving up incredible edibles and making a sweet living from it. Many of our formative, fondest and


lasting food memories are those associated


with family. What's more comforting than being around those who know and love you best? Could you work with yours on a daily basis, though? No, it wasn’t a cosplay convention but in fact The National Franchise Exhibition at the NEC. The two days, full of fantastic content and happy visitors, are reviewed on pages 16
