Journey to success

ONE YEAR ON…

Suzie and Rob Stanton, Home Instead Mansfield fra nchisees reflect on an extra ordinary 12 months!

R

ob and Suzie Stanton are one year on as franchise owners of Home Instead Mansfi eld. Delighted with the positive impact they’ve made

in their community by providing home care to older people who want to stay living in their own home, the couple are also Home Instead’s 250th franchise owners. One year on is truly a milestone worth celebrating! With a natural passion for entrepreneurship, Rob and

Suzie have experience in running a ready meals delivery business for ageing adults, from this they realised the importance of having the option to continue living at home for so many older people. This discovery really struck a chord with the pair and drove their desire to work for a business which makes this a reality. It was during a visit to the National Franchise

Exhibition in 2021 that Rob and Suzie discovered Home Instead. Suzie comments: “I was blown away by Home Instead’s ethos. The team were welcoming, and we got excited about the idea of owning our own Home Instead franchise, providing us with the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of so many people, fulfi lling the intentions we had at the start.” When they discovered their local territory of Mansfi eld

was available, Rob and Suzie were hooked! Rob comments: “Mansfi eld is only a 15-minute drive from our home village of Farnsfi eld, so logistically the opportunity made sense, but it was more the thought of being able to be part of our local community and providing a service that would impact so many lives in such a positive way. Not only this but knowing we’d be coming on board with a well- established, much respected brand with a proven business model, helped us feel really confi dent in our decision”.

106 It was in August 2022 that Rob and Suzie welcomed

their fi rst client to Home Instead Mansfi eld and since then have worked on developing their team, grow their client base and embed themselves into their local community.

“We are making a real diff erence to our wonderf ul clients and our community, who will all benefit from our teams’ hard work and passion to provide exceptional care and support in every thing we do!”

Suzie says: “Today we are in a really good place. We are

running a team of around 16 care professionals, we have over 40 clients and provide around 1,400 hours of care per month. We are also moving into a lovely new offi ce, which is really exciting.” Rob added: “In terms of the future for Home

Instead Mansfi eld, we will continue to grow, through entrepreneurship, networking, word of mouth, maintaining our good reputation and above all our quality. We are making a real difference to our wonderful clients and our community, who will all benefi t from our teams’ hard work and passion to provide exceptional care and support in everything we do!” 
