rban Baristas was founded in June 2016 by Huw Wardrope and Jono Bowman, two Aussie


guys that grew tired of the fi nance industry and of the bad chain coffees they were drinking and decided to invest their time in something they loved but struggled to fi nd in London: great Aussie-style specialty coffee. Urban Baristas’ journey went from


Bondi to Bounds Green with their fi rst site and the aim of serving specialty coffee to the London commuter. Fast forward to 2023, and Urban Baristas embarked on expansion via


franchising with the fi rst two locations opening in London’s Tooting Bec and New Cross Gate and the brand now operate in 12 locations around the capital. They say: “Customers love our
