The examples of various formulation methods presented here are intended to reflect current trends in antiviral hand protection when there is no water and soap nearby. In fact, for some half a year, the segment of leave-on hand sanitisers has turned into a huge and very branded market, where mass-market products complemented to niche, premium, and luxury. But perhaps this is a topic for a separate review. With more frequent use of sanitisers and soaps around the world, there has been a marked increase in demand for hand care products specifically designed for dry and irritated skin. Part 2 of our review will be devoted to this topic too.
