G3 INSIGHT JCM GLOBAL

the groundwork for future implementations of advanced technology such as robotics automation with ICB ASAP, FUZION mobile transactions, and more.

JCM recently signed a master supply agreement with Caesars Entertainment, after previously having master supply agreements with Eldorado Resorts and Caesars Entertainment Corporation separately. Did the deal expand on what was already in place?

Payam Zadeh, General Manager EMEA & Managing Director UK, JCM Global

Concluding 2021 with installations at Grand Casino Hotel & Resort and Hard Rock's Rockford Casino, JCM Global has kickstarted 2022 landing a master supply deal with Caesars and supplying its core product suite at Hollywood Casino Morgantown.

Ahead of ICE London on April 12-14, G3 sits down with Payam Zadeh, General Manager EMEA & Managing Director UK, to discuss JCM's ambitions for 2022 and how the company's latest flagship product for the gaming market, VEGA PRO, builds upon its predecessor.

After a lengthy period in which there were widespread venue closures, has a return of casino players seen a desire to invest in new technology, or to tighten the purse strings?

Customers aren’t looking for one-off solutions – they want to make sensible investments that will have an ongoing impact over the long term. We have been working with customers of all sizes to create and deploy technology roadmaps.

While each roadmap is tailored to each individual customer’s unique business needs, properties are making increased investment in upgrading to our core products like the iVIZION bill validator, GEN5 Termal Printer, and ICB Intelligent Cash Box, as well as new technology like the FUZION system and the Promonet couponing solution.

Tat combination creates a technology roadmap that empowers operators to enhancing the guest experience, increase efficiencies, and boost security, today and into the future. It also lays

Tis is a continuation of an amazing relationship with one of the world’s largest gaming, casino, and resort operators. Te deal built on the relationship that was already in place with Caesars selecting our iVIZION bill validator, and it was expanded to include our GEN5 thermal printer. Tat combination of iVIZION and GEN5 gives Caesars the foundation to expand into our full range of systems solutions including ICB, FUZION, and Promonet.

G2E Las Vegas saw JCM feature a range of display solutions, including DSS FLOOR and CUBE in stacked and hanging configurations, the DSS FLEX, and the DSS MAX-R video wall. How was the event and how were these particular products received by visitors to the stand?

Customer reaction to our line of Digital Signage Solutions was exceptional. We recently installed multiple Digital Signage Solutions at properties like Grand Casino Hotel & Resort, Tree Rivers Casino Resort, and Resorts World New York City, featuring some of the digital signage solutions technologies we showcased at G2E.

What is interesting about these three particular installations is the broad range of JCM capabilities that were involved. For example, the installation at Grand Casino included a massive exterior sign, as well as 30 hanging cube displays inside the resort.

At Tree Rivers, we installed the largest sports viewing and betting screen in the state of Oregon. And at Resorts World New York City, we installed signage throughout the property, in both hotel and casino areas. Each demonstrates the power of digital signage to enhance the guest experience.

Tere has been a noticeable increase of JCM digital signage installations in recent months. Is digital signage now one of JCM's core products that sits alongside bill validation and thermal printing?

JCM’s strength has always been our customer service and project management teams. Expanding our product range to include digital signage solutions was a natural fit, and one that has brought our entire customer base tremendous value because it provides a fully rounded technology roadmap.

With a focus on creating the best customer

experience, either through financial transactions or through custom digital signage experiences and environments, JCM is a part of a total casino solution.

Front and centre of JCM's push in the gaming market is VEGA PRO - successor to the popular VEGA. How does VEGA PRO build and improve upon VEGA? What is its added value?

Te VEGA has been very popular with our customer as you say and so we had to ensure that the VEGA PRO appealed to the same target audience but with added functionality to bring it in line with the latest market requirements. Terefore, we put a new sensor package on it, the same one that is featured on the UBA PRO - ensuring the highest levels of acceptance.

We added a centring mechanism and this helps improve the performance of the VEGA PRO. Overall, the VEGA PRO therefore offers higher security for customers and greater peace of mind, while still offering high quality modular build quality and a versatile compact footprint.

How many applications does VEGA PRO have for cash handling?

Te VEGA PRO is suitable for most applications where cash needs to be accepted. We anticipate that we will sell mostly into the gaming, retail, parking and vending sectors where the high security, reliability, entry level cost and the small footprint are of particular interest to customers.

Why is VEGA PRO designed to be so compact?

Often customers have applications where there is limited space and this is an ideal solution for small to mid-sized cabinets.

What does the new sensor package facilitate?

For gaming, we intentionally designed the addition of a barcode sensor for TiTo applications, making the VEGA PRO a multi- tasking solution. Te sensor also creates a more effective acceptance of banknotes. So, it is a win-win for our gaming customers.

Why is VEGA PRO positioned as one of JCM's entry-level models given its advanced technology?

We believe that quality should not be compromised even on our entry-level models, so we are proud that the VEGA PRO will fly the flag for JCM Global’s high standards. We are excited to launch this product because it really does add value with its new features and will require only minimum service and maintenance due to its modular design.

Te technology that we use on all of our JCM Global products is always state of the art – it’s the number of features that we offer which affects how we classify them to our customers.
