The Ministry has said it could implement a reform framework within a 12-to-18-month period, with legislation introduced by Italy’s Parliament through the approval of one or two

We would say it is less a matter of time and more about quality. Te future decrees and regulations shall be very sustainable, address needs and benefit all parties. Terefore, a political dialogue with operators and industry associations is necessary. Te reform will be the starting point for all the sector pending issues, from tenders to the possibility for gaming companies to develop long-term business plans.
Te draft of the reorganisation law has recently received the green light from the State Accounting Department and is expected to reach the Council of Ministers within a few weeks. We are therefore confident in a path that will lead to the approval of reforms that needs to be seen from the perspective of the consumers.
