Where does SG:certified come in?


SG:certified began with an admission that the current manner in which the gambling industry is operating is, in wide strokes, unsustainable and directly responsible for causing real harm to customers. Tere were (and still are) some big holes in our understanding of the mechanics of gambling- related harm, both to the individual customer and to the planet that we all inhabit. So, we set out to try to plug those holes, relying on empirical research to identify some areas of focus in which we might be able to affect real change.


Te SG:certified platform was built around the notion of bringing operators and regulators together in a collaborative workspace with the goal of making safer gambling simpler for everyone involved. Moreover, through our services, we can assist in making sustainability not only achievable, but easier to implement, making sustainability the needed foundation of their business, rather than a burden.


What differentiates SG:certified's platform?


We've made a concerted effort to develop a tool that is useful to both regulators and operators, a collaborative space where these key stakeholders can unify their efforts. For operators, the platform works like a roadmap to help them navigate the entire regulatory journey from initial licensure to sustained compliance and everything in between. Tose who serve multiple jurisdictions find it especially useful as a way to track their many responsibilities in the context of localised laws and regulations.
