Esports Product Manager, Jacob Howard, who joins SIS with a wealth of esports experience from his previous roles at Alphadraft and Abios.


Sports simulation games: a colossal opportunity


Over the course of our chat, Jacob discussed the 'colossal' potential for sports simulation betting and his remit to continue the improvement and growth of SIS’ Competitive Gaming proposition. Here are the best bits.

SIS has a structure that positions experts within specific niches. For example, Aaron St Pierre, appointed Esports Trading Manager at the same time Jacob, has a decade of experience in sports betting trading, including knowledge of stateside betting operations where SIS Competitive Gaming has launched in New Jersey and Colorado.


Adam Conway, the overall head of Esports & Competitive Gaming, was the head of in-play trading at Ladbrokes for 11 years. Michael Robinson, Trading Technology Product Manager, focuses on tech aspects working with business analysts, developers, and service management to ensure everything is delivered appropriately. Stephen Maguire, Regional Operations Manager, has the experience to ensure multiple streams are running 24/7, having spent two decades managing people in large scale projects.
