Chino, CA — Scienscope International is demonstrating its AXC-800 X-ray component reel counter and X-SPECTION 6000 X-ray inspection system at SMTA International. The tabletop AXC-800 is an automatic X-
ray component counter designed for the inspection of components on traditional reels, from 01005 to odd-form devices. The machine goes beyond standard inspection of compo- nents in 7, 13 and 15 in. (17.8, 33 and 38 cm) reels, with the ability to inspect components in JEDEC trays (including BGA ball counting), ESD storage bags, tubes, and other forms of storage. The AXC-800 does this by using sim- plified algorithms built into the system for all types of components. If the component does not exist in the system, it can be added through the user-friendly GUI. The X-SPECTION 6000 is
Scienscope’s most advanced, cabinet- style X-ray inspection system. As with all X-SCOPE platforms, it includes every advanced software tool required for a wide variety of applications. With greater tilt and a rotating work table, the X-SPEC-

Duluth, GA — Viscom’s S3088 ultra gold 3D AOI system can reach data rates of up to 3.6 GP (gigapixels) per second. At the system’s core is the company’s high-performance camera module, XMplus, with high-through- put camera technology. The 3D cam- era module has more than 120 MP. The AOI system is designed for
maximum performance. Its new cam- era module offers double the per- formance of the company’s standard XM module. The system also has an image field size of 50 x 50 mm (2 x 2 in.) and inspection speeds of up to 65 cm2/s (10.1 in.2/s). All versions in the S3088 ultra
3D AOI series have an integrated structured light projector. Extensive fields of view, with up to nine per-
