Austin America Names Todd Rountree
as President Austin, TX — Austin America Technology has named Todd Rountree presi- dent and chief operating officer. As president and COO, Mr. Rountree will be responsible for all of the company’s worldwide operations. He will report di- rectly to chairman and CEO Steve Stach. Mr. Rountree is a 20-year veteran of the industry with experience in management and sales and marketing. Mile Ostojic Austin, TX — Optimal Electronics Corporation has added Mile Ostojic to its Industry 4.0 team as the company’s expert for robotic applications. Dr. Osto- jic has more than 30 years of R&D and application experience in control sys- tems, robotics and automation. Dietmar Harting Celebrates 50 Years
at HARTING Espelkamp, Germany — The son of HARTING founder Wilhelm Harting, Di- etmar Harting, is celebrating his 50th year with the company. His father had originally planned for him to gain some experience before starting with the company after business school, but Wilhelm’s death changed his course. Diet- mar joined his parents’ company in 1967, taking the helm with his mother. “Customers need to come back, and not products,” says Dietmar, stressing the company’s dedication to quality. “I’ve always stayed true to this,” he says. “Af- ter all, it’s our name on it.” The HARTING Technology Group provides indus- trial connection technology worldwide.
