Page 53 Yamaha Unveils Latest SMT Assembly Systems

Kennesaw, GA — Yamaha Motor Corporation is showcasing its latest generation of SMT equipment, including the YSM20 modular mounter, the YSP printer, and YSi-V software. The Z:LEX YSM20 high-efficiency modu-

lar mounter accommodates a wide range of pro- duction processes, while offering placement per- formance of 90,000/63,500 cph (IPC9850). The mounter can handle large compo-

nents, PCBs up to 810 x 490 mm (32 x 19.3 in.), or two boards in dual-lane configuration up to 810 x 230 mm (32 x 9 in.). The YSM20 offers a maximum feeder

count of 140 types. It contains a high-speed head with 10 nozzles, a flexible multi-purpose head with five nozzles, and is available in sin- gle- or dual-beam configurations. The YSP is a high-speed, high-precision

RIGOL Expands Power Analysis Portfolio

Beaverton, OR — RIGOL Technolo- gies has expanded its power analysis test portfolio with the DL3000 series of DC electronic loads. The loads are designed to give engineers an afford- able solution to quickly determine power needs when evaluating and optimizing power and battery life in new products. The DC loads can draw max

power up to 350W, 150V and 60A, providing the baseline performance required for most current designs. The DL3000 has a 5A/µs slew rate, 30 kHz dynamic frequency, a 4.3 in. (10.9 cm) TFT display, and LAN and remote control capability. According to the company, the DL3000 is the

printer with 11 second/cycle, line-tact printing capability and ±12.5 µm positioning repeatability at six sigma. It includes the company’s print sta- bility control (PSC) and is equipped with the 3S head for variable-angle printing. The company also offers its user-friendly and

intuitive YSi-V (AOI) inspection system software. The software is designed to make the YSi-V not only an inspection tool but a process optimization enabler as well. Yamaha Motor IM America, Inc., 1270

highest performing and lowest-cost solution currently on the market. The DC load provides a measure-

ment mode that delivers four constant modes (current, voltage, power, and resistance) as well as four more ad- vanced transient modes (continuous pulse, timed pulse, toggle, and list) and three applications modes. When combined with the high resolution, fast slew rate, and high frequency ca- pabilities the DL3000 allows cus- tomers to build advanced power con- sumption models, determine power budgets and optimize battery life. For users integrating batteries

into mobile or IoT designs, optimiz- ing battery life is key. The DL3000’s integrated battery test mode allows users to complete battery discharge testing, letting them see live capacity

in mAh and service time. Contact: RIGOL Technologies,
