Santa Rosa, CA — SCHURTER has expanded its metal line switch series to include an illuminated 16 mm (0.6 in.) version — the MSM 16 series. The mechanical pushbutton switch offers a sleek look accentu- ated with quality illumination in ring style, or complete surface area illumination. Color options include red, blue, green, yellow, and white. The standard supply voltage is 24 VDC. The MSM is housed in stain-
less steel with a mechanical actua- tor for tactile feedback. Actu ation force is 4.5N with 1 mm (0.04 in.) travel. The robust, anti-vandal design, with IP67 seal protection and IK07 impact resistance rat- ings, makes it especially suitable for use in harsh environments. Its operating temperature range is –25 to +85°C (–13 to +185°F). The new MSM series includes signal switches designed for voltages of up to 30 VDC at 100 mA. The power switch- es are rated up to 250 VAC at 10A, making the switches particularly ver- satile in panel designs that combine both power and signal switches.
