San Diego, CA — ACCES I/O Products has released a new family of mini PCI Express (mPCIe) digital I/O cards. The mPCIe-DIO family with digital integration offers a large selection of digital I/O functions for compact control and mon- itoring applications. Up to 24 channels are available, offering var-
ious voltage, isolation, speed, and counter/timer options. Additional I/O functions can be easily integrated into systems without board modifica- tions or customization. This highly-flexible and efficient design provides system integrators numerous off-the-shelf I/O configurations for new and existing embedded systems. All ACCES mPCIe cards include high-reten-
tion latching connectors for shock and vibration mit- igation, as well as an extended operating tempera- ture of –40 to +85°C (–40 to +185°F). The cards have been designed for use in harsh and rugged environ- ments, such as military and defense, along with applications in health and medical equipment, point of sale systems, kiosk design, retail, hospitality, and automa- tion. The small size, 51 x 30 mm (2 x 1.2 in.), allows for maximum perform- ance where space is limited. The line of cards encompasses a
wide variety of digital I/O types, including: 24 channels of 3.3V LVTTL (optional 5V TTL) high-current digital I/O; 4-, 8-, or 16-channel, optically-iso- lated inputs at up to 31 VDC or VAC rms; 4- or 8-channel solid state (FET) or electromechanical relays; and 4- or 8-channel, 32-bit counters that support both pulse and quadrature signals. All the cards have certain similar
features, such as memory-mapped reg- isters for low-latency operation. Output channels support pulse, train,
KOA Speer Intros 10W Power Shunt Resistor
Bradford, PA — KOA Speer Elec - tronics has launched its new PSJ2 power shunt current sense resistor, rated for up to 10W in a 3920 size. This new power shunt resistor offers an ultra-low resistance range of 0.5 to 1 mW, making it a good choice for large current sensing. In addition, the PSJ2 has a broad operating tem- perature range of –65 to +175°C (–85 to +347°F). KOA Speer’s PSJ2 offers a TCR
in the range of 75 to 100 ppm/°C with a resistance tolerance of ±1 percent.
SEMICON Europa 2017: Empowering Innovation and Shaping the Value Chain
For the fi rst time SEMICON Europa will co-locate with productronica in Munich, Germany creating the strongest single event for electronics manufacturing in Europe, and broadening the range of attendees across the electronics supply chain. The co-location with productronica embodies the SEMI global strategy to connect the breadth of the entire electronics supply chain.
SEMICON Europa events will expand attendee opportunities to exchange ideas and promote technological progress featuring the most advanced and innovative electronics manufacturing platform in Europe.
Convenient and central location in Europe, Munich will attract tens of thousands of international visitors: Together to connect for electronics business!
PSJ2 power shunt current sense resistors.
The PSJ is AEC-Q200-qualified and meets EU RoHS requirements. This resistor can be automatically mounted and is suitable for reflow soldering. Used primarily for current
detection, the PSJ2 power shunt cur- rent sense resistors are designed for transportation and industrial mar- kets and targets applications in DC- DC conversion, automotive modules,
motor control, and power supplies. Contact: KOA Speer Electronics,

well as screw terminal breakout adapter boards. Customization options include conformal coating, custom software, and custom product labeling. A complete driver support package is provid-
ed, and contains an easy-to-use Windows sample program for testing devices. This simplifies the verification of proper operation. The cards install easily in all operating systems including DOS, Linux, macOS, and 32- and 64-bit Windows. The cards have embedded support for VxWorks 7 and Windows Embedded Standard. Third-party sup- port includes a Windows standard DLL interface, usable from the most popular application pro- grams, including LabVIEW VIs. Additional soft-
ware is available. Contact: ACCES I/O Products, Inc., 10623
