ters and smart storage racks to improve receiving and kitting. Scienscope was founded in

1994 to meet the growing need for reliable and affordable gener- al-purpose optical and video in- spection solutions for the elec- tronics industry. The company began with es-

sential stereo zoom microscopes used for SMT inspection and re- work of circuit boards and electromechanical assemblies with a commitment to quality, value and support. Over the past 28 years, the company has evolved into a complete inspec- tion solutions provider. Products include offline and inline X-ray systems, video coordinate meas- urement systems, video inspec-

Emerson Upgrades Electrical Heat Tracing

Systems ST. LOUIS, MO — Emerson is now offering a low-cost upgrade for electrical heat tracing sys- tems, the Nelson AXPC100-CM- GP and CM-GP microprocessor- based digital controllers. They are designed to accurately con- trol, monitor and maintain the process temperatures of industri- al pipes or tanks in nonhaz- ardous locations. By installing the controllers,

the end-user brings their heating circuit up to the current require- ments for ground fault equip- ment protection outlined in the National Electrical Code and Canadian Electrical Code. The controllers are programmed to trip when leakage current ex- ceeds the specified maximum al- lowable amount. Rugged and reliable, these

environmentally-hardened con- trollers are housed in a NEMA 4X fiberglass reinforced, UV re- sistant polymer enclosure resist- ant to rain, snow, hose-directed water and windblown dust. Dual-pole heater switching adds to system versatility, making the controllers suitable for heater voltages from 120 to 277 VAC. Broad operating temperature ca- pability, from 32 to 425°F (0 to 218°C) increases the range of process operations where they can be installed to deliver out- standing performance, safety and energy efficiency.
