process requirements. This includes special noz- zles for LEDs, connectors, switches, pushbuttons, pins, clips, heavy, over-sized, and more. Due to
continued expansion projects, COT has increased its manufacturing capabilities in the custom noz- zle division to increase throughput and reduce cost for customers. The company offers several styles of com-
ponent handling trays based on industry- proven specifications and the unique require- ments of each product. These include the award-winning Stripfeeder platform and the QWIKTRAY custom matrix tray systems. Ap- plication requirements, such as temperature and chemical exposure, manufacturing processes, and mechanical and electrical con- straints are factors that are combined with op- eration considerations, including production volumes, build costs, total estimated usage, and process control. COT offers both off-the- shelf kits and custom-built tray products. As a design and manufacturing

company, COT specializes in develop- ing solutions. The focus of the compa- ny’s development projects has been on improving the methods of assembly of printed circuit boards. Every aspect of this process can benefit from automa- tion tooling. Customers come to COT with
problems that they experience, such as having to hand place odd-form components, repairing worn/dam- aged feeders, or developing universal board supports, like the ezLOAD se- ries. The technology that COT has de- veloped over the years has allowed the company to design and manufac- ture custom engineered tooling for

xcellent choice for High Mix, Medium Volume Production
Cranston, RI — A major challenge for engineers is finding cost-effective thermally conductive potting com- pounds for medium-to-large potting applications. Many of the commer- cially available high-performance products are not viable options, due to the cost that they add to the elec- tronic devices. Most potting compounds create
too much heat when curing in large mass sizes. 50-2151 FR has a low exothermic reaction temperature. This polyurethane potting compound was formulated to provide a good bal- ance between cost and performance. The 50-2151 FR is low in viscosity and suitable for potting or encapsu- lating delicate components. This sys- tem provides outstanding thermal shock and excellent dielectric proper- ties. An additional feature is that 50- 2151 FR is formulated to be flame re-
tardant. Contact: Epoxies, Etc., 21 Star-
