Roswell, GA —Whether it’s processing the smallest components, minimizing the void rate of soldered joints, im- proving quality with protective coat- ings, or ensuring reliable functioning in extreme temperatures, Rehm con- fronts challenges with innovation. The VisionX series of convection
soldering systems represents high quality and flexibility. The VisionXP+ offers the highest throughput rate and makes convection soldering — with or without vacuum — more effi- cient. At productronica, the company will be presenting highlights of the continuing development of the Vi- sionXP+. These include not only the tried-and-trusted EC fan motors that make the system both quieter and more sustainable, but also a reduction
in N2 consumption, due to a new chamber design and a newly devel- oped cooling line, as well as a number of software analysis tools. With the TripleX, Rehm intro-
duces a new system for convection and vapor phase soldering. The Vi- sion TriplX is based on the reflow convection soldering system of the VisionX series and combines the con- vection soldering process with the trusted vapor phase soldering process of the CondensoX series. As a result, three different processes can be carried out in the new system. Re- flow convection soldering with or without vacuum and vapor phase sol- dering with Galden®. In developing the CondensoX

cross-border shipping. This status has been a valuable asset to the com- pany and its customers. In 2007, the products division
was sold, complete with its Cyborg, Eclipse and Kasparov brands. Ryder Industries became the name of the manufacturing division, ushering in a new era of specialization in con- tract manufacturing (OEM) services. China’s increased openness towards enterprise has provided Ryder the opportunity to set up a third manu- facturing facility further inland, in Jiangxi province. The new site benefits from ac-
cess to a wide labor pool and high rate of labor retention, while at the same time being within the supply network and close to the new high- speed rail link to Beijing. It provides manufacturing muscle to comple- ment the two higher-tech and engi- neering-intensive teams in the previ- ous sites. Celebrating 40 years of electron-
ics manufacturing, Ryder continues to balance precision and scale to provide outstanding, high-quality service to all its customers. With the same experi- ence and approach that have made it an enduring success, Ryder is looking forward to the next 40 years. Contact: Ryder Industries, Ltd.,

smart system, the company focused on the process chamber, which delivers high process stability and has a small footprint. The new chamber design, which opens and closes vertically, en- sures an optimal hermetic seal and greatly improved both the dependabil- ity and service life of the system. The Nexus vacuum soldering
system is well-suited for cavity-free and flux-free soldering at up to 842°F (450°C) with a variety of process gases. Wet-chemical activation is op- tionally available with formic acid. Lead-free or lead-based preforms and pastes can also be used. Contact sol- dering is generally used for advanced
packaging and power electronics ap- plications. The optional vacuum func- tion helps to minimize oxidation in the components and in the joint itself. The Protecto conformal coating
system protects sensitive electronic modules from damage by corrosion or other environmental influences such as moisture, chemicals or dust. At the heart of the Protecto system is a coating management function linked to the nozzle technology. Up to four coating applicators are used, offering a high level of versatility. Reduced cycle times for the
coating process today call for a faster curing time. Rehm Thermal Systems
has responded to this trend and has created a compact dryer specially de- signed for the curing of UV coatings and adhesives in the new RDS UV unit. UV coatings are solvent-free and advantageous for processing and for the environment. Contact: Rehm Thermal Sys-
