Exact Metrology Offers Artec Micro 3D Scanner

Cincinnati, OH —Exact Metrology is now offering Artec’s Micro 3D scan- ner. Artec is a developer and manu- facturer of professional 3D scanners and software. The Artec Micro, an automated,

metrology-grade desktop 3D scanner is the company’s most accurate 3D scanner to date and is used for scan- ning tiny mechanical parts. It is suit- able for scanning engine valves or connectors,

for inspection and

reverse engineering applications, and for many other industries. The Artec Micro is equipped

with cutting-edge twin cameras and blue LED lights that are synchro-

nized with the scanner’s dual-axis rotation system, creating an accu- rate digital copy using minimal frames. The fully automated industrial

scanner creates a high-resolution color 3D scan that offers an extremely high point accuracy of up to 0.4 mil (10 µm). Resolution of 0.001 in. (0.3 mm) and a 6.4 MP camera for the capturing of texture

data are provided. Contact: Exact Metrology, Inc.,

Avnet Introduces RFSoC Development Kit

Phoenix, AZ — Avnet has introduced its RFSoC development kit using the Zynq UltraScale+ from Xilinx, Inc., enabling system architects to explore the entire signal chain from antenna to digital. Using MATLAB® and from

MathWorks, and RF components from Qorvo, the kit enables users to quickly deploy systems for 5G wire- less communication, including for aerospace and defense use, by har- nessing the integration of Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoCs for direct- RF sampling.

Designers can now accelerate the

path to production by characterizing data converters before SoC software is developed and perform over-the-air testing in MATLAB with live RF sig- nals. The platform was designed in collaboration with MathWorks to work with its free MATLAB trial package for wireless communications. The kit extends the functionali-

ty of the Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC ZCU111 evaluation kit by adding a Qorvo 2 x 2 small-cell RF front-end 1.8 GHz card for over-the-air trans- mission, plus a native connection to

MATLAB and Simulink with Avnet’s RFSoC Explorer® application. Qorvo provides next-generation

5G system architectures with the lat- est RF devices, enabling superior performance of Avnet’s RFSoC devel- opment kit. Adding technology from Samtec expands the kit’s capability to connect, prototype, and deploy high-performance RFSoC solutions

on a single platform. Contact: Avnet, Inc., 2211 S.

LUTZE Introduces Cable Entry Kits

Charlotte, NC — LUTZE’s Cablefix® One kits simplify the need for configu- ration of cable entry systems. Cablefix One kits are the newest addition to LUTZE’s Cablefix family. This cable management system has a multilay- ered seal design allowing individual layers to be removed to vary the clamping range of the seals from 0.14 to 1.2 in. (3.5 to 29.5 mm). Cablefix One is available in three preconfig- ured kits which include all compo- nents required to seal 4, 7 or 10 entry points, depending on the version. These kits reduce the need for

cumbersome seal configuration, make ordering easy, and reduce the number of part numbers on drawings, BOMs and in the inventory. Unused seals are closed by default, eliminating the need for blanking plugs. Cablefix One also provides excel-

lent strain relief (per EN 62444) to secure cables against accidental pull- out. The system protects up to UL Type 4X, 12, 13, and IP65. Mounting the frame to the cabinet is made easy by using the provided cutout template or by using a standard 4.4 x 1.8 in.
