tech.com Anda Intros High-Accuracy Selective Conformal Coating Nozzles
Fremont, CA — Anda Technologies is now offering a comprehensive line of five selective conformal coating noz- zles. These nozzles make it possible to apply conformal coatings with high dispensing accuracy, while pre- venting clogs. The SA-W5 selective conformal
coating spray valve is the workhorse of the Anda conformal coating noz- zles. The cone-shaped spray nozzle can coat 80 to 100 percent of circuit boards, depending on their complexi- ty. The nozzle is designed to provide
a repeatable, concentrated conformal coating film in a fine, circular pat- tern with coating widths ranging from 0.2 to 0.3 in. (4 to 8 mm). The DJ-01 needle dispense valve
is a versatile dispensing valve for sin- gle-component bead, dot, potting, con- formal coating, or encapsulation proj- ects. The DJ-01 is most commonly used in conjunction with the SA-W5 to coat complex areas of circuit boards that are hard to reach and require a high degree of accuracy. The DJ-01 ac- cepts a wide range of tips from 0.008 to
0.08 in. (0.2 to 2 mm). The DJ-03 selective conformal
coating spray valve provides a re- peatable, concentrated conformal coating film in an ultra-fine, circular pattern with coating widths ranging from 0.1 to 0.2 in. (3 to 5 mm). The LA-W30 selective confor-
mal coating spray valve is a fan- shaped spray nozzle that provides a repeatable, concentrated coating film with fan pattern widths ranging from 0.6 to 1.2 in. (15 to 30 mm). Anda’s FC-4 selective film coat-
ing nozzle combines three nozzles into a single valve. This multifunc- tional film nozzle combines film coat-
