Access Fixtures: LED Wall Pack Light with Wide Optics
Worcester, MA — Access Fixtures has introduced a forward-throw, full-cutoff, LED wall pack, the CUDL. The wall pack’s sleek, surface mount design hugs walls. The CUDL is designed to blend esthetically within any general lighting environment, from office buildings and warehouses to manufac- turing facilities. The LED wall pack comes standard in architectural bronze finish and can be painted with custom RAL colors if required. The wall pack is designed to be
durable, tough and powerful and comes in three different wattages — 81, 112 and 174W. The wide, for- ward-throw optics of the high-pow- ered pack enable mounting between 12 and 35 ft (3.7 and 10.7m) high, making it a good choice for tall build- ings. The CUDL comes in 4,000 or 5,000 K light temperature models. A
motion sensor or photocell may be purchased as options. The wall pack is IP66-rated for
protection against dust, dirt and water, and its full cutoff design min- imizes glare and light pollution. All CUDL purchases include the wall pack and necessary mounting hard- ware.
The CUDL is the first product
in the company’s line of long-life LEDs. L70-rated for 646,000 hours, this wall pack is designed to last for years without replacement. New LED technology allows the light to last for long periods of time, well past the traditional lighting lifetimes of
HID and high-pressure sodium. Contact: Access Fixtures, 40

Stuttgart, Germany — Bosch Sensor - tec has launched its BMI270, a low- power, smart inertial measurement unit (IMU) specifically de signed for wearable applications. It offers strongly im proved accelerome- ter offset and sensitivity, enabled by the company’s latest MEMS process technology. The BMI270 is the latest

member of Bosch Sensortec’s BMI260 family of IMUs. It includes intuitive gesture, con- text and activity recognition with an integrated plug-and- play step counter, which is opti- mized for accurate step count- ing in wrist-worn devices. The IMU is also well-suited for
BMI270 inertial measurement unit. Powerful, accurate gesture and
other types of wearable devices, such as hearables, smart clothes, smart shoes, smart glasses, and ankle bands. As an ultra-low power IMU, the
BMI270 significantly extends system battery life by handling multiple activity tracking, step counting and gesture recognition functions inde- pendently of the main system proces- sor, without having to wake it up. These processor-independent func-
activity recognition features run in the ultra-low power domain, with current consumption of 30 µA. This noticeably reduces power consump- tion and users can benefit from
extended battery charging intervals. Contact: Robert Bosch GmbH,

Cinch Intros Stacking Connector Series
RoHS
Lombard, IL — Cinch Connectivity Solutions, a Bel Group company, has introduced its CIN::APSE® stacking connector series. CIN::APSE solder- less, high-density, stacking intercon- nects are used for board-to-board, flex-to-board and component-to- board applications. CIN::APSE stacking connectors are found in applications where a mezzanine- style PCB layout is utilized to reduce space and weight. The CIN::APSE 0.04 in. (1 mm) pitch accommodates high-density cir- cuits between boards. The CIN::APSE mechanical
contacts are durable for applica- tions that require several cycles of disconnections for modifications or testing. The mechanical contacts also reduce the need for soldering and subsequent inspection. CIN::APSE is one the most widely implemented
solderless, high-speed interconnects in the industry. With a flight proven history, CIN::APSE stacking connec- tors are found in military, aerospace and satellite applications worldwide.
