Duluth, GA — Viscom is now offering a com- prehensive method to inspect conformal coat- ings with its S3088 conformal coating inspec- tion (CCI) system. CCI includes methods to in- spect defects, cracks, blisters, cavities, or smearing of conformal coating on PCBs. In the coating, UV-fluorescent particles en-
sure excellent contrast during inspections using ultraviolet light. In an inspection system like the S3088 from Viscom, optimal interac- tion of the lighting, the sensors and the soft- ware-based inspection is what makes the dif- ference. Viscom’s vVision software makes the
