FISHERIES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1997 (NO. 23) FORESHORE ACT, 1933 (NO. 12) NOTICE OF REFUSAL TO GRANT AQUACULTURE AND FORESHORE LICENCE(S).
The Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine has refused to grant Aquaculture and Foreshore Licences to, Munster Shellfish Ltd, Ceann H-Eilbhic, Ring, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford, REF: T05/581A for the cultivation of oysters using bags and trestles on a site on the foreshore in Ballycotton Bay, Co. Cork. The reasons for this decision are elaborated on the Department’s website at

An appeal against the Aquaculture Licence decision may be made in writing, within one month of the date of its publication, to THE AQUACULTURE LICENCES APPEALS BOARD, Kilminchy Court, Portlaoise, Co. ROADS ACT 1993 TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993, that the following road will be closed to public traffic for the dates and times stated:
Road Resurfacing Works – L 3606-23 Leamlara to Carrigtwohill
from 08.00hrs Tuesday, 7th of August 2018 To 18.00hrs Friday, 24th of August 2018 (24 Hour Closure)
Road to be Closed: The L3606-23 from its junction with the L3604-25 at Leamlara to its junction with the L3680-0 at Carrigtwohill.
Road Number: L3606-23 (Part).
Alternative Route: From Leamlara to Carrigtwohill via the L3604-25 east to Lisgoold. At junction turn right onto R626. Continue south to Curragh Wood turn right onto L3617-25. Continue southwest. Turn right at the junction with the L3680-0 continue west to Carrigtwohill.
This alternative route is also applicable in the reverse when travelling from Carrigtwohill to Leamlara.
This closure is to facilitate Road Resurfacing Works.
