Corkbeg Junior Team 2018-2019 Corkbeg Junior team,

playing in AULDiv1 un- der

the stewardship of

the management team of Brian

Martin, Denis O

Sullivan, John Bennett & Pakie O Sullivan, will re- commence training for the upcoming AUL season on Thursday evening, 26th

of

July at 7.30pm at their club grounds in Whitegate. It would be fantastic to

welcome back all of last years panel and with no U-19 league running in Cork this season, we would be more than welcome to see any of last years Cork- beg U-18 panel to join up with the junior team. Please get involved, lads, you’re all more than wel- come. There’s plenty of places up for grabs. As usual, we also wel- come any new players to improve our panel for the upcoming season. If you’re up for a new challenge,

Corkbeg Reports or

give us a call if you’d like more

@ 0872421270 or John @ 0872712557.

Corkbeg FAI Summer Camp The Corkbeg leg of the

FAI Summer Camp series, took place under glorious summer skies last week in Whitegate. The house full signs went up again this year and we were de- lighted with the huge turn out once again. Thanks to Paul Ryan, who sent on some great photos to us. Both Paul & Jack Maguire were part of the coaching set-up with the FAI coach- es for the duration of the Summer Camp.

F.A.I. Visit to Corkbeg An F.A.I. delegation, will

visit Corkbeg AFC in Au- gust, as part of it’s Festival Of Football week in Cork county. The delegation, which will include FAI CEO John Delaney & FAI President, Tony Fitzgerald, have included Corkbeg on their whistle-stop tour of

the county, as a part of our 50th

Anniversary cele-

brations. Corkbeg legend Terry Dunne will also be honoured in recognition of his services to football at a gala dinner in Cork City during their visit. A number of former Ireland internationals

will also

form part of the delega- tion. We’d like a big group to welcome the the FAI to Whitegate in August, so keep it in mind and we’ll be giving full details soon.
