Intermediate team continue preparations for the championship Our intermediate hurl-

ers are continuing prepa- rations for

their next

championship outing not set until Cork are finished with the Senior and U21 All Ireland championships. However, we will be out in September. We have a few lads in both long and short-term injury and it’s the same story with holi- days as we have some over- seas. We played Douglas

senior with a very weak- ened team and got a bit of a lesson early in the week, but it was a good outing for us and in fairness to man- agement they are making a super effort with available resources and this may be our strength later.
