Cork Darts Circles with the Youths Section tak- ing pride of place with the
running of Round
2 of the O’Briens Ga- rage, Midleton East Cork Youths at Youghal Rugby Club. 25 players took to the Oche within three sec- tions.
In section 1 the honours
went to Darragh Keena who came through to take the victory against Daniel Carey Power. Both players got to the final after tough semi-finals against Craig Motherway and Sean Duggan. In the plate section first
round winner Min Kirby took the honours against Richard Long. The beat- en semi-finalists were Ci- aran Reilly and Stephanie Long.
Section 2 was a very
tight affair right the way through. Eventual winner Cian Moore won his quar- ter final bout with Dermot Farrell to find his form. In the other quarter finals Jayden Fitzgerald, Adam Carey Power and Robbie Barrett were
victorious
against Adam Lewis, Re- becca Kelleher and Jack Mulcahy. Cian Moore and Jayden Fitzgerald got through to a cracking and spirited final with Cian getting the victory on this occasion. Section 3 saw Charlie Cahill and Dwayne Siger- son reach the final after semi-final victories against Kai Fitzgerald and Mat- thew Forth respectfully. The section 2 and 3
plate section saw Jack Ca- hill defeat Leon Joyce in
the final. Jason Óg Bar- rett, Alan O’Keeffe and Kevin Jones produced cracking darts but were unlucky on the day. Next up for the Youths
section is round 3 at the Two Mile Inn on Monday 19th
March with registra-
tion at 1.30pm on the day. New players always wel- come. In the Adult section,
Friday night saw round two of the Two Mile Inn Cup take place. Some in- teresting ties took place with the Corner House up against Colberts Bar. Dave Hickman for the Corner House winning the final game against Tony Jor- dan however the
point
for Tony was enough to secure the victory. Highlight of the night
fell to Hartys Michael Mullane who hit a classy 12 darter which included a 149 checkout. Hartys secured victory against the Central Star. Emmet Cronin of Aunt-
