Glanmire Ladies Football Club Notes
Junior v Aghada Because our Junior
team won the Junior A County League last year and the rearranging of the Adult divisions we have been promoted to a Div2 Senior team. We started our season yes- terday with a very tough match against Aghada in very inclement weather and a heavy. Our quali-
ty showed from the start and we got a few points on board before Agha- da hit a purple patch. A goal just befor half time brought us back into the game and there was the bare minimum between the teams. The team- work and the ball work in the second half was amazing and the sheer determination of these girls did us all proud.
The whole team and
the 5 subs that came on were amazing and in a dingdong 30 mins we eventually beat a class Aghada outfit with a score of 2-13 to 5-2. Well done to all
