Shereen Dent To Launch Debut CD In Killeagh This March

Shereen Dent will officially launch her debut CD in Killeagh next month. The album launch is


taking place on Thursday 8 March, at the Greywood Arts Centre in Killeagh at 8pm. Shereen, who is originally from Johannes- burg in South Africa, has been living in east Cork since 2001. Since arriving in Killeagh, she has been involved in the Killeagh Choir, with Mary Pedder


Daly, who accompanies her on the new CD. Shereen’s new album


was recorded at Claycas- tle Studios in Youghal, with the help of War- ren Tivy. Entitled ‘Ear- ly Morning Magic’, the nine-track CD features the Killeagh-based sopra- no performing some of her favourite songs. Sher- een will also deliver a re- cital of these songs live on the night of the launch. The

He moved to Midleton 23 years ago and became actively involved in Midleton GAA Club as a coach when his eldest son started with the club aged 5. Pa is currently a coach with the U14 team. He also help’s the Ladies Football from time to time as his two daughters both play. In his spare time he does a “bit” of refereeing! • Paddy Corcoran(Gaa) - From Ballinadee where all the hurlers from


Coucey Rovers live. Paddy married Frances and they moved to Midleton. They have two kids Deirdre who plays Football with Midleton and Niall who plays Hurling and Football with Midleton. Paddy is involved with Midleton since the lads could hold a hurley. He was Chairman of the La- dies Football side of the club for the past 4 years, and this year is a coach to the Minor and Junior teams. Paddy work’s in FMC .
