New Lesker Rectangular Vacuum Valves

As applications for Rectangular Gate Valves keep getting larger, KJLC is meeting the demand for the wider rectangular valve openings commonly used for semiconductor processing, solar panels, LCD/flat panel, and other vacuum coating applications.

The new valves are rated up to 2 million cycles and available with 200mm through 2,000mm openings. These KJLC rectangular valves are proven ideal for vacuum applications which require large valve openings.

virtually eliminates process particulate from entering the bellows, leading to long cycle life.

The valves feature mechanical locking, so that at the end of blade travel during valve closure, the valve locks into position. The benefit of this design is that any back pressure on the gate will not affect sealing properties. The sturdy design has a proven track record of having greater ability to handle backpressure–between 15% – 30% greater than the competitors’ product.

Also, upon loss of operating air pressure, our valves remain shut–a more reliable design feature, compared to valves which use check valves in the air-supply line.

With ease of service in mind, the bonnet flange bolts are designed with retainers to eliminate bolts falling out upon disassembly–a simple, but very nice, feature to make a technician’s life easier. These KJLC rectangular gate valves are engineered from over 10 years of experience in semiconductor equipment vacuum valve repair.

RFMD unveils GaAs pHEMT converters

First entering the market as a valve repair facility catering to semiconductor equipment end-users, Lesker have become a process- tested supplier of vacuum valves. The bellows- sealed rectangular gate valves feature a patented L-Motion link assembly (U.S. Patent Pending) and dual shafts without springs in the actuator to enable faster, smoother actuation with significantly reduced vibration. This design also results in less wear, less particulate generation, and faster cycle times. The Dust Seal on the vacuum side of the bonnet flange
