Hittite was founded in 1985 and designs and develops high-performance integrated circuits, modules, subsystems and instrumentation for radio frequency applications.

The majority of its products use cutting-edge compound semiconductor components, including gallium arsenide, indium phosphide, gallium nitride, SiGe and indium gallium phosphide chipsets.

Hittite Microwave Corporation has announced it is to unveil nine new products.

These products include a new battery-operated portable synthesised signal generator, two new RMS power detectors - the HMC1010LP4E and HMC909LP4E - a new direct current power management product line and new tunable filters.

Other products include broadband time delay devices using a frequency modulation bandwidth of 600 Hz, with 0 to 70 ps continuously adjustable delay range, as well as the firm’s first multiplexer product - designed for 28 Gbps data serialisation.

In addition, Hittite has released its HMC974LC3C - its new silicon germanium (SiGe) monolithic, ultra-fast window comparator, where three output ports detect whether an analogue input signal is above, below or between two reference levels supplied at its input.

Finally, the firm has also released four new high-speed logic products designed to support data transmission rates of up to 43 Gbps and clock frequencies as high as 43 Ghz - the HMC841LC4B, HMC842LC4B, HMC843LC4B and HMC850LC3C.

Samples of these new products - and those of the existing product ranges - can be attained by contacting the company online or by a direct purchase order.
