The company opened its new standalone re-branded Exeter showroom offering “The Room Works” in May with support from Exeter City Football Club and Ex- eter Chiefs.
A dedicated plumbing and heating branch opened in Wellington, Somerset and a mixed merchant offering in Torquay in the summer. In the Autumn RGB moved to a new, enhanced premis- es in Okehampton. Not only did this improve the plumb- ing and heating offering in the market town where it was already established, but it enabled the introduction of a comprehensive building, timber and decorating stock. Sydenhams Founded in Poole in 1874 on
a site where timber is still imported today, Sydenhams supplies the local building and DIY trades through a network of 29 branches. There is also a timber engineering business for the design and manufac- ture of I-beams, Easi-joists, roof trusses and complete timber frame buildings, as well as 10 hire centres and - ing showrooms.
