IT Ratcliffes grows with CounterAct confidence


Ratcliffe says: “This opportunity was a good reason to check out the market and see what other providers were doing, what they had to offer and how Border was performing in terms of meeting our overall requirements. It soon became clear that Border, and its CounterAct software, should remain as our provider of choice because we felt that they knew the team at Ratcliffe’s and understood us and how we work. They have always taken the time to fully understand the business and how we use CounterAct and it became apparent to us that some of the other software providers maybe wouldn’t have had this level of knowledge.”

Some 18 months ago, the company


undertook a strategic assessment  decision to upgrade both their hardware and software from Border.


Ratcliffes used this review to look at other software and hardware providers in the industry. Director Matthew

One of the primary reasons they required an upgrade was to allow them to combine their two existing servers into one giving better integration to the business in terms of information. The previous arrangement with two different systems often saw customers having two or more different accounts over the three branches.
