ActionCOACH wins third
consecutive Best Franchise Award
over 100 franchisors since it started in 2011 and ActionCOACH franchisees were invited to rate their franchisor’s products, services and infrastructure. The results of this survey produce a benchmark of satisfaction scores and high-scoring franchises are invited to present to the judging panel at the Best Franchise Awards, which are sponsored by the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS). In 2013, ActionCOACH became the
fi rst recipient of Smith & Henderson’s 5 Star Franchisee Satisfaction award with record-breaking satisfaction scores. In 2016, the business became one of just fi ve franchisors to receive the 5 Star Franchisee Satisfaction rating four times. ActionCOACH UK co-founder Ian Christelow added: “We’re elated to win a hat-trick of Best Franchise awards. This year the mid-priced category increased to £99,000 meaning we were up against the likes of last year’s Best Large Franchise winner, Tax Assist, and to fi nish top again is testimony to the tireless eff orts of our UK support team.
n ActionCOACH has been named the Best Franchise (£25k-£99k Investment) at the Smith & Henderson Best Franchise Awards 2016 for the third year in a row. Steven Frost, CEO of Smith & Henderson, said: “We would like to congratulate ActionCOACH on being recognised as the UK’s Best Franchise in the £25k-£99k investment category. “This was an extremely competitive
category and what makes this award even more special is it is based on feedback from ActionCOACH franchise owners, who provided outstanding feedback about the support from ActionCOACH, its leadership and products and services. In 2016, for the third successive year, ActionCOACH has been recognised as one of the very best franchise opportunities in the UK.” Smith & Henderson’s Franchise Satisfaction Survey has been adopted by
“Most of all, I have to thank our fantastic network of over 150 franchise owners; the calibre of individuals in our network is second to none and our culture of teamwork and abundance means support is readily available at the end of the phone. “We’ll all celebrate this award as a team but now the challenge begins to make our franchise deliver even more rewards, personal growth and fulfi lment for everyone who invests in their own ActionCOACH franchise.”

What advice would you give to me as a fi rst-time visitor to the franchise exhibitions?
Be prepared for a long but
productive day. The information you are about to take on board will be overwhelming, so take your time and get around as many exhibitors as you can. Take as much advice as you can get from exhibiting organisations such as the British Franchise Association (bfa), franchisors and even franchisees for their own perspectives. Make sure you obtain a fl oorplan and organise your day around it. This will ensure that you can attend seminars of interest that can be very informative. Always take any
promotional literature off ered by exhibitors so you can read up on the businesses in your own time. It can be hectic on the day and do not worry if you cannot do everything that you set out to do, as that is not always a realistic aim. Simply focus on what you do have time for and make the most of the moments that you are presented with. You should attend the exhibition with an open mind and you may come across a business that surprises you. It may be that something you have not previously considered impresses you on the day.
