Busy Week ahead at West Waterford Following a hectic week
of action in the Sunshine Classic the season gets into top gear at the club. On Monday we host the junior scratch cup with a large entry aiming to conquer the challenging Coolcormack course. Our Tuesday treats are back with an Open 9 hole all day competition. Our very popular Al Eile Open 18 hole qual- ifier gets underway on Wednesday.
On Friday
evening we are holding our first scramble of the year. This is a most en- joyable event for ladies and gents offering an en- joyable game of golf and a get

The half time cuppa at the starters hut gave us the opportu- nity to share a few words with the teams and the positive feedback was an indication of the appre- ciation for the customary West Waterford hospitali- ty afforded to all. Yes we have learned a lot down the years and each year we try to give our loyal supporters that
little bit
extra. A big thank you to everyone who played in the Classic, your support is greatly appreciated.
Sunshine Classic Qualifiers A total of 16 teams
qualified for the final on Saturday 22nd
is comprised of the 7 best overall scores and there- after the best daily score for each of the 9 days. The top 7 scores ranged from 95 to 102 with the higher scores being re- corded over the weekend. The
