• On the bench before the off !
• Ready for the Race.
• Five winners in the over 11 Category.
• Time for the Egg and Wooden Spoon Race. Youghal4All Quiz Produces Tie Breaker by DENISE FITZGERALD Eight teams of four bat-
tled it out at the Yougha- l4All Quiz last week, or- ganised to raise funds for
the Moby Dick Festival which, this year, will be held in conjunction with Youghal Credit Union. The Quiz produced an exciting tie breaker be- tween the late
arriving
team of Altrights who were up against the expe- rienced, knowledgeable team of CRY, and the close finish between them was nailbiting. just
Altrights slipped through to
win from a CRY(ing!) team of Yvonne, Wil and Jordan.
Quizmaster and Ques-
tion Setter, Pat Murphy, compiled ten rounds which included topics
such as General Knowl- edge, Questions about The Moby Dick, a Pic- ture Round and a very successful Name the Lyr- ic round. Helen Heaphy Grainge was kept busy
taking entries and check- ing the results, with the help of other committee members. A great night, well or-
ganised and thoroughly enjoyed by the Quizzers,
all for a very good cause. A delighted Group con-
firmed on the night that Gina will be performing at
Lane on the 3 June from 5pm to 7pm.
