10am,” said Kate Deady of East Ferry Rowing Club. “We are starting from Ballycotton Trans- port. We will head down the town and out through Saleen and around to the Ferry. It is annual. This is our fifth year of it. We started in 2011 but missed 2015 due to bad weather. It is also the club’s first fundraiser for a new boat in order to better accom- modate the growing club. “This year we are fund-

Justice seems to be theirs, until they find themselves on the radar of Texas Ranger, Mar- cus (Jeff Bridges) look- ing for one last grand pursuit on the eve of his retirement, and his half-Comanche partner, Alberto (Gil Birming- ham). raising for a new boat,” said Ms Deady. “The club is getting so big that we are spending longer and longer training. We need more boats in the water. This is our first fundrais- er for a new boat but we
have more ideas coming. It costs €6,400 for a new boat. We also need two sets of oars; one set for adults and another set for the younger kids. Each set costs €1,800.” Members of the club
have sponsorship cards and there will be collec- tion buckets available on the day as the Saints and Sinners race boat is pushed from Midleton to the East Ferry. “It is getting harder
and harder to fundraise,” said Ms Deady. “Especial- ly as there are so many good causes out there. We would like to thank our main sponsors East Ferry Farm and thank everyone for their support.”
